MULTI-CHEM FOAM ASSISTED LIFT TECHNOLOGY OF GAS WELLS DELIQUIFICATION

This presentation is devoted to practical aspects of development and application of Foam Assisted Lift (FAL) technology.

After short discussion on liquid loading phenomena, considerable attention is paid to gathering and analysis of information during candidate-well selection for FAL program, practical issues of treatment type selection, to optimization and monitoring of the treatment performance and advantages of FAL as compare with different AL technologies.

Pavel Lvov is the CIS Manager of Multi-Chem, Halliburton Service. He has 33 years’ experience in oil field chemical business working during his work in NIPIneftepromchim, Exxon Chemicals, Nalco and Baker Petrolite. He was graduated from Physics faculty of Kazan State University and holds Ph degree in well development of oil and gas fields received in All Russian Oil Research Institute (VNII).
He is author and co-author of series of scientific articles, participant on international conferences in the field of oil and gas production.
Resolution of gas well liquid loading problem using foamers is one of main field of his activity in Russia. This activity incudes gas well evaluation, product selection and development of application technology of the foamers.
